We measure our success not just by meals served, but by positive impact created
Jimbu Thakali belives in giving back to the community. Through various CSR initiatives, we actively support education, sports, and social welfare
MAUSAMI: Mousami Chepang comes from the nomadic Chepang community, one of the most disadvantaged groups in Nepal. Despite facing immense hardships, she has worked tirelessly toward her dream of becoming a nurse or health assistant, with the support of the Karunamaya Foundation. To help Mousami achieve her aspirations, Jimbu Thakali has provided substantial financial assistance for her three-year education. We believe that empowering even one child can create a ripple effect, inspiring and uplifting others from similar challenging backgrounds.
Scholarships in CEC: It is the responsibility of society to nurture the aspirations of young talents and provide them with opportunities to excel in their chosen fields. In partnership with CEC, Jimbu Thakali is proud to support ten aspiring cricketers from financially disadvantaged backgrounds by offering scholarships in CEC for a period of three years. This initiative aims to empower young athletes with the resources they need to pursue their dreams of representing the nation and bringing glory to the sport.
A Small Gesture, A Big Smile: This Christmas Eve, Jimbu Thakali was honored to welcome HIV- infected children from Baby Life Home, for a complimentary dinner at our restaurant, as part of our ongoing commitment to community care. The evening was filled with warm meals, cheerful conversations, and genuine smiles that reflected the true spirit of the festive season. Through this small act of sharing, we hoped to extend our care beyond the kitchen—creating moments of happiness, connection, and togetherness—while celebrating empathy, dignity, and the belief that good food should nourish not only the body, but also the heart.
